Bachelor task # 1

Finally the time has come for thesis! It feels really good to have gone so far. The theme I have chosen are illustrative, and I will illustrate a small part of Kabalmysteriet by Jostein Gaarder.

Currently there are only exercises in digital drawing and coloring. I have the first sketch on paper, scanned and beautiful places over in photoshop. We'll see how the result is, for now, only exercises and trials.

Now it is almost Easter and Sugar Sweet recharges with a task that will run for two weeks. The theme is:

I created this creation:

I made a box and used a Spellbinders dies from the top and bottom.

Along the edges of the box, I used stamps from the Norwegian Stempelblad. All panels are inked with Dirstress in color Ink Peeled Paint.

On the lid of the box I put a mini easel cards. The image is from hÄnglar. She is painted in the colors Peeled Paint and Spiced Marmelade (mixed with water, I would have rather soft colors on her).

Bird's Nest, I found at the bottom of Easter decorations box min. I removed the chicks who stood up in (they had seen better days), put into a half egg and a new Easter chicken was plass i egget.

Teksten "God påske" er også fra hÄnglar.

Under esken satt jeg knottene til Tim Holtz.

This box is an Easter gift for my grandparents. I have long thought that they would receive a gift "for no reason", just fordijeg puts so much appreciate them. They do not like chocolate (!) So I do not know quite what to put inside yet.

Here is my card that was on last Skedsmo-hits. It was difficult with the swirls, I think but they came at the end! The image I have borrowed from Gro that month's guest at DT Stamptacular.

Both the motive and the paper is from Magnolia. Tilda is painted with distress. Sweater is painted with aged magogny, pants with black soot. The panels are distressed with Victorian Velvet,

swirl in the paper is a quic dies from Kutz. I have had the crackle accents swirl around a bit and on the card, see that it does not appear in the pictures.
